Brendita was given the same name as Mr. Scott's daughter's, Brenda, who was a high school student. She was called Brendita which means little Brenda. She was learning arithmetic other than at the elementary school, and she actually seemed to be very good at it. She often came where I was painting the mural, and we often played together. With my Spanish proficiency, it might have been the most relaxing time when I was talking with her. She had a unique Chilean beauty, and I was thinking she might become very beautiful in the future. It has been three years since then. I wonder what kind of kid she is now. Will I be able to see her who lives on the other side of the globe again some day?
